Stuffed Bell Peppers with Ground Beef

Ingredients:
• 4 large bell peppers (any color), tops removed and seeds cleaned
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 cup cooked white rice
• 1 cup tomato sauce
• ½ cup diced onion
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• ½ tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
• 1 tbsp olive oil

Full Recipe:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
2️⃣ Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add bell peppers and boil for 3–4 minutes to soften slightly. Drain and set aside.
3️⃣ Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
4️⃣ Add diced onion and garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
5️⃣ Stir in cooked rice, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
6️⃣ Spoon the filling evenly into each bell pepper.
7️⃣ Place peppers upright in the prepared baking dish.
8️⃣ Cover loosely with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
