Best Foodie Recipes for Thanksgiving 2022

These Thanksgiving recipes make the best holiday dishes that they will always ask for. Making a traditional thanksgiving dinner consists of cooking turkey, cranberry sauce, and dressing. While there are thousands of recipes, here are ten-holiday recipes that you should have on the menu this year 2022.

1.) Deep Fried Turkey


Ingredients:

1/2 cup Lawry’s season salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbs Thyme
1 tbs Paprika
1 tbs ground mustard seed
1 small bottle of Mojo Marinade

Directions:

Thaw out the turkey and remove the inner fillings (neck, gizzards, etc.). Season your Turkey with ingredients and rub all over. Inject turkey with mojo marinade. Fill your deep fryer with peanut oil and set the temperature to 350 degrees. Safely add the turkey to your deep fryer and cook for 45 minutes. Check the temperature with a thermometer, it should be cooked well at 180 to 190 degrees. Remove Turkey from the deep fryer safely and sit for 25 minutes before serving.



2.) Mandarine Cranberry Sauce




Ingredients:

1 can cranberry sauce gel
1 can cranberry sauce berries 
1 can maandering oranges
1tsp sugar


Directions:

Mix all ingredients into a bowl until slightly lumpy or smooth. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.


3.) Creamy Macaroni and Cheese 




Ingredients:

1 16 oz block of sharp cheddar cheese 
1 16 oz block of mild cheddar cheese 
1/2 block Velveeta cheese 
4 eggs beaten
4 cans of carnations evaporated milk
1/4 cup of Lawry’s seasoning 
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp ground black pepper 
1 stick salted butter 
3 cups macaroni noodles 
12 cups water


Directions: 

Set stovetop to med-high heat. In a large pot add water and boil. Add macaroni noodles to boiling water and cook for 9 minutes or until tender. Safely remove noodles from the pot by draining them into a strainer over the sink. Poor noodles into a deep baking pan. Add all ingredients to the baking pan with noodles and stir until evenly mixed. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake macaroni and cheese for 35 - 45 minutes or until golden brown. Once done remove from the oven safely and let sit for 15 minutes before serving.


4.) Potato Salad




Ingredients : 

6 large potatoes 
1 1/2 cup mayonnaise 
1 tbs mustard 
1/4 cup sweet pickle relish 
1/4 cup Lawry’s season salt

Directions:

Set stovetop to med-high heat. Add 6 cups water and boil. Peel and cut potatoes into med chunks. Add potatoes to boiling water for 7 minutes. safely remove and drain water. Add potatoes to bowl and mix all ingredients. Softly fold ingredients into potatoes ( do not mash). Add potato salad to deep foil pan, and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour or until ready to serve.



5.) Smoked Turkey Collard Greens (pressure cooker)




Ingredients:

5 cups of chicken broth
1 cup water
5 bunches of collard greens
1/2 cup Lawry's season salt
1 smoked turkey drum
1chopped sweet onion

Directions:

Prep collard greens by pulling the stems off, washing them, and cutting them into medium strips. Add chicken broth and water to the pressure cooker, then add cut collard greens, onions, and seasoning. place the pressure cooker lid on securely making sure it is sealed and closed based on your manufactures instructions. Set the pressure cooker for 20 minutes. Check for tenderness and can cook an additional 10 minutes if needed. Keep on a warm setting and serve.
