Imitation Crab Salad Recipe

Cheer up any occasion with our Imitation Crab Salad. This pasta dish gives you all the seafood flavor that your taste buds deserve. Easily spread on crackers or use as a main or side dish to serve any day. This is one of my favorite go-to meals that is made for the holidays. If you like veggies, pasta and crab this dish will make your mouth water and come back for more.


  • 3 packs imitation crab meat (rolls)
  • 2 tbsp old bay seasoning
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 celery stalks (diced)
  • 1/2 green bell pepper (diced)
  • 1/2 red bell pepper (diced)
  • 2 tbsp sugar or Splenda
  • 1 cup large elbows or any pasta noodles
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 6 cups of water


Turn the stovetop on to medium-high heat. Add 6 cups of water to the pot and bring to a boil. Add pasta noodles to boiling water for 9 to 10 minutes. Once the noodles are done, remove them from the stovetop safely and drain. Cut imitation crabmeat rolls into 4 sections. Pull apart imitation crab meat until stringy, then add to a mixing bowl. Add old bay seasoning, celery, bell peppers, sugar, and stir. Add mayonnaise to your desired consistency. Add pasta noodles and mix all ingredients until evenly coated. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve cold.
